Autumn leaves are pretty. They create “picture perfect” sceneries. Unfortunately, we humans are not like leaves during transitions. We are generally not pretty. For most of us, transitions are rather chaotic and filled with uncertainties.
Here are 3 thoughts on how to navigate these uncertain periods:
1 . Admit that transitions are hard: doing this liberates you! Once you accept the fact that this period of uncertainty is generally hard to deal with, then the feeling of uncertainty won’t bother you as much. Once you accept it, then you can transcend it by a determination to succeed regardless of how you feel.
2 . Cease the moment: remember that we live life in moments. The only moment that is completely within your control is this one you’re in now. Cease it. Realize that you’re in complete control of your present moment. Even though things seem chaotic or uncertain now, remember that you can control your attitude and mindset. You have that power now!
3 . Create a compelling future for yourself: do this by allowing your mind to consider the positive things that will happen after the transition period.
In summary, remember that transitions – if well handled – hold the key to your next level. In this period, growth awaits you. The emotional instability might suggest the future is uncertain but remember to accept the difficulty of the time you’re in and create a bright future for yourself to pull you forward.
